We highly recommend to update all clients and servers to the latest SPLM version to guarantee compatibility.

SPLM Version 09.00.03.00

• IMPORTANT NOTICE:  This version of SPLM is required to run SPI 2007, SPI-SA 2007, SP3D 2007, SPR 6.2, SmartSketch for SPLM 2007, SPPID 2007, PDS SE 08.00.00.12, FrameWorks Plus 08.00.00.15, and SupportModeler/Manager 07.03.01.01.

Please check the compatibility Matrix for latest information.

• IMPORTANT NOTICE:   Requesting a new SPLM key for the same machine ID.  Once you have installed a SPLM key and wish to request a new key for the same Machine ID, you cannot remove the old SPLM key.  You should over install the old SPLM key with the new SPLM key.  You will need to generate a new machine ID and request a new SPLM key if you uninstall the old key.

• Compatibility Status PDS 6.4.1:  Does not work out of the box.  Please contact PDS Support.

• You can upgrade the license server to SPLM 09.00.03.00 without the need to upgrade the clients IF application still supports an older version of SPLM.

IMPORTANT LICENSE INFORMATION:

For all newly released (2007) products, the Client installation of SmartPlant License Manager (SPLM) V9.0.3 or later is required when used with the Server installation of SPLM V9.0.3 or later.   Previously, you were not required to update the client software.

You cannot add license servers with different versions of SPLM and PD_LICE to a client.

All future releases will require SPLM 09.00.03.00.  SPLM is not delivered on the individual product media, but on a separate CD included in your software shipment.
